The Hired Hands class worked hard to put together a new raised bed garden for education programs!
The crew with our finished bed
We sawed wood to create stakes to support the walls of the garden bed
Gathering the finished compost to use in the garden bed
It was heavy! We had to take turns pushing the wheelbarrow to the garden
We even harvested some rotting wood to add as a base layer, which will help hold water and provide nutrients for our garden soil
Leveling out the soil
Planting the seeds and tomato seedlings
All done! Signing names on their Hired Hands legacy garden!
