Currently we are not hosting May events on the Farm. This means we will not run programming on or off the farm for groups of people. We want to continue reaching out to our friends and neighbors and to do this we are offering a multitude of virtual event options. We'd love to have you take part. Every dollar earned now will be put toward our educational programs restarting without missing a beat. Please do not give if it is outside of your means. You and your family are number one. If you would like to donate to our programs so they are available to you and your family once this is all over, we appreciate that support.
Connecting the Community to our Farm
Farmer's Helpers offers farm-based education classes and events at Chip-In Farm in Bedford, Massachusetts. We aim to connect our community to the farm through classes, events, farm visits, and our traveling farmyard. Spending time on a working farm gives us a deeper connection to our food and offers an opportunity to spend more time outside, plus there's so much fun to be had on the farm! Our primary focus is on classes and events for children - in a time when our kids have less and less access to the outdoors (and especially to farms), Farmer's Helpers classes give kids the opportunity to develop skills through hands-on activities, real farm work, and outdoor play.
Come for a visit!
For a fun outing, visit Chip-in Farm to feed the friendly animals with vegetable scraps provided by the farm. Finish off with a trip to the country store for old-fashioned penny candy, local goods and produce, and our own farm fresh eggs. A self-guided visit to the farm is always free and the animals love visitors!
